What can I say.....it is never a dull moment around this house. As you can see Savannah broke her wrist. She has done very good with the injury, I must say. The kids are out for Thanksgiving, I am soooo glad. Sat. Brantley was sick and got sick in the car, and that is always fun! He was fine by Sunday. Chandler is doing fine, just waiting to hear who he got for basketball. Tori.....well she is my Tori. I love her sooo much, that is all I can say. LOL No work the last two weeks so I am praying work is coming after this holiday. Please continue to pray for us and thank you for loving us and caring.

What a day!

Well, I must say this has been a hard day! Savannah got evaluated for failure to thrive today with Brantley's therapist. As most of you know this has been an ongoing issue with her. Not only does Stacy do speech but deals with all motor functions with the mouth and face. Chad got to go with us today, because work is so slow right now, and it was great for him to see the process and how Stacy works with Brantley and the evaluation. I am still trying to understand everything that she told us, but the good news is she feels like we can get Savannah to eat more and expand her diet. Which in return will cause her to gain weight. However, this is going to be a VERY slow process and it will take some time. The serve reflux has been diagnosed as the main reason for the failure to thrive. This can cause sensory problems too, so we are more than likely going to be referred to an occupational therapist too.
This process has really brought up many emotions, and caused me to face the emotions i have repressed about her skull fracture earlier this year. It was such a traumatic experience all the way around and I still can't believe she had to go thru all that. So, a lot of work is going to need to be done, but with God's grace we will make it thru.
Brantley is doing very well in speech and has homework every week we have to do. Blowing into whistles and practicing flash cards.
Chandler has his program for school tomorrow night and I am very excited! Tori loves school so much she gets upset for me to check her out to go to the dentist. I think she is afraid she is going to miss something!
We did have a good time in coooooold Nashville last weekend. Rita enjoyed herself and as always the Opry Land Hotel was beautiful! The rocketts were no where as good as NY but it was fun!
Please pray for our work to pick up! We have had no work this week and I just pray to the Good Lord to please take care of us.
As always thank You for taking the time to read about what is going on in our life. We love yall and appreciate your friendship and love! Have a great week!

New Hobbie
Hello to everyone. I hope this finds you well and your family. As many of you know, I love to take photographs. It has been a Hobie of mine for a while. I have started taking some pictures of my friends and family. I have named my little Hobie, Mother of 4 Photography. I am NOT a professional, but I am a mother and have had LOTS of pic. taken of my children over the years. I started taking my own pictures of the kids to save money, but also realized that I can do most of what I have been paying for. I am in the process of getting my own web page, and hopefully make a little money at it. My goal is provide the wonderful gift of photos at a low cost. Keep checking in, and I will post my website when it is up and running.
Last week was a crazy week. The kids field trips went good, and my trip to Birmingham was GREAT! I have the BEST husband ever! We are off to Nashville this weekend to celebrate an early birthday for Rita. We are taking her to see the Rockettes!
Brantley's speech is going good. I love his speech teacher, she is great! She said he is very smart and should adjust very well. I, however, didn't know how important it is to get help with speech problems. Not only does it affect your basic speech, but it can effect the ability to learn to read, social problems, and academic problems. I had no Idea. One of the questions I asked her was did Chad and I do something to cause this problem. Stacy said no, and asked me if he had a lot of ear infections. I said no, but he has had a lot of step. She said that at some point when he was learning to process hearing us speak to him, it was probably like hearing us talk above water to him while he was under water. I thought that was a great way to help me know how he processed listening to us. I hate to say, but Savannah is on the waiting list to be evaluated for speech too. At her 15mon checkup Dr. Miller said she really needs to be talking and said we need to talk to Stacy about getting her evaluated. So, we will see. She doesn't really talk at all, it does worry me, and makes me question why she isn't talking.
Chandler is trying out for Basket Ball Tues night. Tori is loving school and Mrs. Lindsey.
Chad is doing fine, and we are trying to eat in more and eat better. I think that will work.
I hope everyone has a blessed week, and thank you for stoping in to see what is going on with our family. You are all a blessing in our life and we love you!

Halloween Fun
Well this has been a very busy week! We went to Stone Mountain last Sunday with Me'Me', and had a good time at the pumpkin festival. This year we painted our pumpkins instead of carving and the kids loved it. This week we had several school parties and they kept me very busy. I was a little under the weather for a while too, but am over it now. After a busy night of trick or treating we had a full Sat. We had a birthday party and a Halloween Party today, and we are going to take it easy on Sunday. This coming week we have two field trips with YACS. So here we go again.
Tori is just about ready to read, Chandler is doing well in math, both of them had great conferences. Brantley is still loving school and Savannah is loving school too! have a great week everyone! Luv the Parkmans
