Off on another Trip

We have been back from the beach for one week, and the kids are off again! Camping with MeMe and Paw Paw this week in Alabama. Chandler is going to space camp and I am so excited for him, although he is a little nervous, I think he going to love it! I am going and staying until Wednesday, and I am looking forward to spending some time with my mom!

I think we had the best vacation at amelia island this year, than we ever have had! I really didn't want to come home, but all good and fun things must come an end.....so we can begin to have fun at something else!

We bought a new/used van this week. Since we were down to one car it was nice to find a deal on the van. I guess I am a mini van mom now, but I will always love my excursion. It is a 2004 Honda and it only had 67K miles on it. The kids are sooo excited, it's funny how they get excited about a car.

Sometimes I feel like my kids need a personal secretary. I have set up check up apts for all 4 kids, made dental apts for Brantley and need to make 2 more, Chandler needs to go for an orientation for braces, Set Brantley up for a new speech therapist, getting Sports lined up for fall, and lastly making dermatology apt! Wow!

Brantley told me on vacation that his battery had died and he couldn't take anymore pictures! LOL Chandler had football tryouts today and did really well. Both boys are happy with their new room, and so are the girls. Tori is always wanting to play ball, and Savannah is really starting to get into playing babies and toys!

Picture Day

Today has been a day for pictures! I took Savannah and Brantley to downtown Amelia Island and did their 3yr and 4yr pictures. They turned out so cute! However, by the end Brantley told me that his battery had died and he couldn't take any more pic! LOL Then tonight we did our annual beach pictures, and I tried to do something different with their clothes, instead of just white and Khaki. I think they turned out pretty well.

Savannah has had a blast this year in the ocean. She has played and played in the water, and Brantley has surfed till he can't anymore. Tori will go out and ride the waves for hours and just have the best time. I must say Chandler is in a very hard stage, and I can only imagine what he will be like in a few years. He has stayed at the pool mostly but does venture down to the beach every once in a while. It's like he doesn't really want to hang out with us....I am at a loss.

Reality is fastly approaching and I only have one more day to appreciate the beautiful beach. We have had the BEST weather this trip we have had in years.....

We couldn't ask for any more beautiful weather! So far we are having a great time. We have played and played in the sand....played put put....taken a boat ride around Cumberland Island and Amelia Island....and made memories!

As I am writing this I am watching my two oldest fight each other....Lord Help ME! Brantley threw up this mor too, Chandler and pop are going to see a movie, and Savannah loves playing in the Beach! So we are having a normal day so far!

I can say my two oldest have def. started to notice the opposite sex body parts! UMMMM! Not ready for that. No more getting dressed in ft. of each other!

This is the first year in 10 years that we have come to the beach without bottles or a pack in play! I know I will miss them being little, but I think I have relished enough time in the early years to appreciate them fully! LOL

Long time no post~

Well it has been over a year since my last post and it's been too long! We are heading off to the beach tom, for out annual trip with the in-laws. I am becoming more of a private person with our family and our life, and as a result I want to blog to reflect what is happening in our family. I have learned that Facebook isn't a place to express personal things about my family so I hope you will enjoy our blog and continue to check back often to see what is going on in our life.
